剧情：
布鲁斯．威利斯与戴米．摩尔夫妻档合演的唯一作品，描述的却是妻子谋害恶丈夫的悬疑推理故事。导演艾伦．鲁道夫采取倒叙手法切入，描述辛西亚在警局接受侦讯，回述詹姆斯如何遭人杀害并被丢到水沟的过程。原来开美容院的乔丝自从嫁给詹姆斯后，时常遭到这个游手好闲的家伙恶言相向，好友辛西亚对这场家庭暴力忍无可忍，乃协助乔比谋杀亲夫，整个案情的揭发较具抽丝剥茧的趣味性，演妻子的格兰．黑德利演得相当出色，布鲁斯．威利斯则难得地饰演讨人厌的反派角色。
