剧情：

影片由赫兹菲尔德前三部火柴人短片综合而成，以简单的铅笔动画表现主角比尔与自身心理阴影的斗争过程，看似随意和零碎的讽刺如头脑风暴般将观众迅速带入主角的不明疾病引发的隔离情绪。毫无情绪的旁白全程作为主角的内心独白并将荒诞离奇正常化，偶插的现实场景打断角色回忆并给其短暂乐观以沉重打击。
